A Taj Hotel Property

Overview: The hotel is located in the town of Cochin. This is a Taj property but called the Trident Hilton. Of course it cannot compare to the grandeur of the Taj Heritage properties but this is still a very comfortable and well maintained hotel. It is a low rise building with a center courtyard with pool and a good spa.

The public areas. The public areas are spacious and nicely decorated. The lobby is pleasant with big comfy chairs and couches. The main restaurant is airy and bright with a wonderful choice of food. Actually the food here was surprisingly good. In the evenings they sometimes offer a grill barbeque where you pick your food and it is cooked to order. You then can eat outside around the pool, it is a very pleasant way to enjoy dinner. The small gift shop carried some wonderful goods to take home for small gifts. The spa featured two treatment rooms with many different types of therapy.

The bedrooms: All rooms are spacious have a wireless internet, king size bed, TV, privacy safe and all the amenities you would expect in a nice hotel, the rooms offer very comfortable accommodations. They are nothing special but all that you need for a short stay in Cochin. The courtyard and pool area are quite lovely with very plush grounds.
